Here are the steps to follow to obtain a
perfect smile:
The dentist will evaluate the condition of your mouth
and your jaw and will perform the
CT scans and X-rays
appropriate. Later, if you decide to
continue the procedure, the dentist will take
a model of your mouth. This model will be
sent to a laboratory to create a
personalized prosthesis, i.e. for
create the bridges or sections of the
jaws and teeth that will be attached
to implants.
Anesthesia
Before the surgery, you will receive a
local anesthesia to make the procedure
painless. Then, your mouth will be
carefully cleaned to remove any remaining
bacteria and damaged tissues of your
mouth.
Implant placement
Four holes are drilled in the
anterior of the maxilla and two in
the posterior end. Thus, the implants
are placed at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees.
In most cases, the new teeth
are attached to the implants within a period of
maximum of one day.
You can initially have implants
temporary, lasting from 6 to 9 months. It
is a preventive measure to avoid
bruises and to ensure that less
pressure is exerted on the implants
during the recovery period. Once the
the mouth completely restored, the dentist
will place the permanent implants.
