The course
of a beard
transplant
is done
in several
stages. A
diagnosis
will be
carried out
before the
intervention
in order to
study
the size of
the hairs in
the donor
area.
After the
diagnosis,
the surgeon
proceeds to
grafting.
The
procedure
takes
between 2
and 4 hours.
In
Indeed,
there are
two
different
techniques
of grafting,
namely: the
technique of
grafting
FUT with
long hair,
or the
technique of
FUT graft
with partial
shaving. The
first
allows for
the
collection
of between
1,500 and
2,500
implants,
while the
secondone
allows
to extract
the
follicles by
means of a
micropunch.
In most
cases, the
donor part
is the neck.
In
Indeed, the
hair on the
back of the
neck is not
affected by
the hormone
that causes
alopecia.
Once the
follicles
are
sorted, the
surgeon
proceeds
with the
graft.
Therefore,
the grafts
will be
inserted
into
the
affectedarea
via
injections
tangential.
The
intervention
takes place
in
ambulatory.
The patient
must respect
the
postoperative
protocol
prescribed
by his
physician.
